ELECTICAL BUILDING SERVICES DESIGN

Introduction to Electrical Building Services
Provides a practical introduction to electrical theory and electrical building services systems to enable clients to communicate more effectively with professional such as electrical designers, consultants and contractors. It will enable the non-electrically minded to comprehend the discussions and requirements surrounding the subject.
Before attempting to design electrical power distribution system, you must understand the basic elements that make up the overall power distribution systems.  The overall layout of the power distribution system is the first in the design process. In this stage the designer will probably established the location of the service entrance; inquire as to the service voltage available from the local utility company, determine the location of electrical closest board .etc.
To ensure a proper understanding of the basic terms used in electrical engineering, clients will undertake some simple example calculations.
Content
